Located at Agern Allé 13 in Hørsholm, this project for DTU SCIENCE was delivered by X LIGHT in collaboration with Nordens Installation ApS. The assignment included the development of a complete lighting solution for an office environment, combining refurbishment of existing luminaires with the integration of new downlights to create a more efficient, comfortable, and future-ready workspace.
A key part of the project was the creation of a custom lighting solution tailored to the building’s existing luminaires. By upgrading the original fittings with specially manufactured LED inserts and combining them with carefully selected new luminaires, the solution preserves the existing architectural framework while significantly improving lighting quality, energy performance, and long-term functionality.
The installation was delivered using X CONNECT® technology, ensuring compliance with the requirements of BR18 and DS 12.454. This provides a future-proof lighting setup with intelligent control capabilities and a strong focus on sustainability, operational efficiency, and user comfort.
