Hillerød City Hall has undergone a complete lighting transformation through a close collaboration between X LIGHT® and Hillerød Municipality. With more than 600 PROLINE 60 XC wireless luminaires and multiple X CONNECT® gateways, the project brings modern aesthetics, advanced connectivity, and long-term flexibility to every workspace. The new installation ensures optimal visual comfort for employees while reducing unnecessary energy consumption and preparing the building for future BR18 requirements. The previous system lacked flexibility and was costly to maintain, making the transition to a dynamic, sensor-driven solution an essential upgrade for the municipality.
A specially developed solution was created for the City Council Chamber, where the architecture and atmosphere required a more tailored approach. X LIGHT® designed a version of the PROLINE 60 XC from Imperial Lighting with Tunable White capability that follows the exact geometry of the council table, complemented by the SATURN 1500 LED UP/DN from Imperial Lighting, to enhance both ambience and functionality. Thanks to the wireless Tunable White technology produced by Philips, the colour temperature can be adjusted to suit different activities throughout the day, creating a comfortable setting while supporting meaningful energy savings. The result is a sophisticated and adaptable lighting environment that highlights the character of the space and strengthens the experience for everyone who works or meets there.
