Musikteatret Albertslund, a beloved cultural venue in the Copenhagen area, has recently undergone a lighting upgrade that combines performance, efficiency, and atmosphere. With the integration of the X Connect® system and DS 100 luminaires from Imperial Lighting, the lighting now supports a superior experience for both staff and audiences. The new solution has been implemented in both cinema rooms – Storebio and Lillebio – and the main concert and theatre hall is set to follow during the summer. Designed to enhance comfort and visual clarity, the discreet sensors respond to both movement and daylight, creating a seamless and energy-saving lighting environment.
The project was delivered in close collaboration with Uggerly Installation A/S, demonstrating how modern technology can be adapted to suit multifunctional cultural spaces. The intelligent lighting system ensures optimal control and efficiency without compromising on design. Whether it’s for a film screening or a live performance, the updated lighting solution supports the venue’s dynamic programming while contributing to a more sustainable operation.
